MEET KERRY

My Story

When I was younger, my nan raised me. She was the most significant person in my life, and when she passed away, I made her a promise. I promised her I would make something of my life.

That promise has shaped everything since.

I was the first in my family to go to university. I studied nursing, then trained as a CBT-I specialist, driven by a quiet belief that people deserve to understand what is happening in their own bodies rather than simply being told what to do with them.

But the truth is, I came to this work through my own experience too. I have lived with insomnia three times in my life. I know what it feels like to lie awake exhausted, willing sleep to come, feeling your body has somehow turned against you.

It hasn't. That is the thing I want every single person I work with to know.

It was my daughter's sleep difficulties in 2011 that led me to train formally in sleep support. That decision changed our lives, and it set the course for everything that followed.

Your body is not failing you. It is communicating with you.

Who I Am

Hi, I'm Kerry

Mum of two  ·  Sleep Practitioner  ·  Founder, The Sleep Fixer

In the fifteen years since, I have helped thousands of families and adults around the world sleep better.

I have worked as the first Behavioural Sleep Practitioner at Evelina London Children's Hospital, spoken as a keynote at the Royal Society of Medicine, and consulted for The Sleep Charity. My work has been featured in The Guardian, Channel 5 News, and BBC Radio 5 Live.

When you are not sleeping, something is getting in the way of a process that is entirely natural. Sleep is not something you have to work hard at or force. It is something your body already knows how to do. My job is to help you understand what your body is telling you, and to help you trust yourself again.

Sleep difficulties are far more common than most people realise, and they are not a reflection of who you are. Around 40% of adults live with ongoing sleep issues. Up to 50% of typically developing children struggle too, and that rises to 86% among children with SEND.

You are not alone, and this is not who you are.

Working With Me

Practical, warm, and tailored to you.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. I take the time to understand what is really going on for you, your family, your lifestyle, and your body, before we build a plan together.

No rigid rules. No unrealistic expectations. Just clear, science-backed steps that make nights more restful and days more liveable.

I support children and adults across the UK and internationally, working with families, schools, and professionals. I will be with you through the tough moments and the turning points.

April 13 2026

Twenty five years to the day my nan passed away, I am launching The Sleep Fixer Circle.

I chose the date before I realised its significance, and when I did, it felt like confirmation.

This work is my promise to her, fulfilled.

I would love to help you too.
